Genom de olika projekt vi driver har vi samlat på oss ett antal goda exempel på olika typer av hållbara upphandlingar, både svenska och internationella. Här samlar vi dem inom olika kategorier så du kan se hur andra gjort och förhoppningsvis inspireras och hitta exempel på bra och innovativa upphandlingar.

EPC upphandandlingar
2016 Söderhamns kommun renoverar majoriteten av fastigheterna inom kommunen och bostadsbolaget.
Söderhamns kommun och det kommunala bostadsbolaget Faxeholmen investerar 270 miljoner kronor i kommunens fastighetsbestånd. Genom EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) garanterar leverantören att investeringskostnaden täcks av framtida besparingar i form av minskat underhållsbehov och ökad energieffektivitet. Läs mer

Att tänka i paket är hela idén med Totalmetodiken. Då får man även med sig de åtgärder som på egen hand varit olönsamma – och som därför faller bort i de flesta andra energieffektiviseringsprojekt. Åtgärdspaketen ger mycket kraftiga energibesparingar (50 % i genomförda totalprojekt) och en mycket god ekonomisk lönsamhet. Läs om projekten
2014 Vara bostäder satsar tio miljoner kronor för att energieffektivisera bolagets fastigheter.
Vara Bostäder, har upphandlat ett så kallat EPC-projekt (Energy Performance Contracting). Det kommunägda bostadsbolaget satsar cirka tio miljoner kronor för att med hjälp av Schneider Electric energieffektivisera fastigheterna. Läs mer
2011 Torsby kommun energieffektiviserar kommunens hela fastighetsbestånd.
Torsby kommun energieffektiviserar sina fastigheter i ett så kallat EPC-projekt. Projektet omfattar cirka 131 000 kvadratmeter, vilket är nästan hela kommunens fastighetsbestånd i form av skolor, förskolor, idrottsanläggningar och bostäder. Upphandlingen, som vanns av YIT Sverige, blev inte särskilt kostsam i och med att moderniseringen finansieras av framtida energibesparingar. Läs mer

2015 Region Skånes råd för strategisk upphandling
Region Skåne utvecklar sitt arbete med upphandling genom att tillsätta ett råd för strategisk upphandling. Syftet med rådet är att stärka arbetet med strategisk upphandling och arbeta systematiskt med att främja innovationer, sociala krav och miljöaspekter vid upphandlingar.

2016 Ny belysning i Malmös skolor
Malmö kommun har tagit initiativet att förbättra belysningen i kommunens skolor. En översyn av belysning i befintliga skolor visade att den gamla och ineffektiva. Ny belysning behövdes och det beslutades att göra en studie av mänskligt centrerad belysning, HCL, för att göra klassrummen mer attraktiv och mer gynnsamma för inlärning.

Antiesenhofen/Upper Austria – street lighting in a small community
- Population: 1,057
- Retrofitting of the street lighting (main road, residential area)
- Number of lighting points: 54 (before), 58 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the total installed capacity from 5.0 to 2.4 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 20,700 to 10,100 kWh/year
- 15,900 Euro investment is financed by the electricity savings
Gunskirchen/Upper Austria – comprehensive street lighting project
- Population: 5,800
- Retrofitting of 80 % of the street lighting system
- Number of lighting point: 727 (before), 725 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the total installed capacity from 58 to 28 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 148,700 to 70,400 kWh/year
- 125,300 Euros investment is financed by the electricity savings
Rainbach/Upper Austria – street lighting in a rural municipality
- Population: 2,894
- Retrofitting of the street lighting in the village centre, one district and an underpass
- Number of luminaires/lamps: 192/701 (before), 190/190 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the total installed capacity from 9.5 to 5.6 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 44,300 to 25,600 kWh/year
- Reduction of the maintenance costs from 5,800 to 1,600 Euro/year
- 95,700 Euro investment is financed by the electricity savings
Rohrbach-Berg/Upper Austria – street lighting in a rural municipality
- Population: 5,100
- Retrofitting of the street lighting system in the district "Berg" and a part of "Rohrbach"
- Number of luminaires/lamps: 139/276 (before), 139/139 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the total installed capacity from 12.5 to 3.5 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 52,500 to 14,800 kWh/year
- Reduction of maintenance costs of 6,500 Euro/year
- 121,500 Euros investment is financed by the electricity savings
Wels/Upper Austria – an underpass lit by LEDs
- Population: 59,900
- Retrofitting of the lighting in an underpass in the city centre
- Number/capacity of lamps: 40/48 W each (before), 40/28 W each (after renovation)
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 16,800 to 9,800 kWh/year
- Reduction of the maintenance costs from 2000 to 500 Euro/year
- 19,000 Euro investment is financed by the electricity savings
- Short payback time due to high operational hours (8760 h)
Gdańsk/Pomerania – LED lighting in a park
- Population: 460,427
- Retrofitting of the lighting in a park in a residential area
- Number of luminaires/lamps: 24/40 (before), 25/25 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the installed capacity from 1.7 kW to 1.3 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 10,700 to 3,500 kWh/year
- Investment costs: 35,000 Euro
Gdańsk/Pomerania – lighting of a street in a residential area
- Population: 460,427
- Retrofitting of the lighting along a street in a residential area
- Number of lamps: 75 (before), 53 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the installed capacity from 5.6 kW to 5 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 22,400 to 20,000 kWh/year
- Investment costs: 5,304 Euro
Gdańsk/Pomerania – lighting in a residential area
- Population: 460,427
- Retrofitting of the lighting along a street in a residential area
- Number of lamps: 102 (before), 71 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the installed capacity from 8.5 kW to 4.5 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 34,000 to 18,000 kWh/year

Kilkenny City – LED street lighting in Ireland
- Population: 24,423
- Retrofitting of 5 streets and housing estates in Kilkenny City

- Reduction of the installed capacity from 6.6 kW to 3 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 27,743 to 12,132 kWh/year
- Reduction of the maintenance costs from 1,652 to 295 Euro/year

Cabanillas/North Central Spain – street lighting in a small municipality
- Population: 856
- Retrofitting of the street lighting: 80 % residential, 20 % roads
- Number of lamps: 450 (before), 440 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the installed capacity from 87 kW to 29 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 343,850 to 94,750 kWh/year
- Reduction of the maintenance costs from 7,500 to 3,500 Euro/year

Ribaforada/North Central Spain – LED lighting in a Spanish municipality
- Population: 3,687
- Retrofitting of the street lighting: 85 % residential, 15 % roads

- Reduction of the installed capacity from 132 kW to 52 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 691,005 to 142,945 kWh/year

Direct Parcel Distribution Austria/Upper Austria – combining lighting and heating refurbishment

- Retrofitting of the lighting in a logistics hall
- Reduction of the total installed capacity from 39 to 16 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 163,300 to 62,600 kWh/year
- Investment costs of the lighting refurbishment: 50,000 Euro
- The project was combined with the renovation of the heating system
Fischer Brot/Upper Austria – LEDs in a bread baking hall
- Company: Fischer Brot
- Retrofitting of the indoor lighting in a hall where bread is baked on an industrial scale
- Number of lighting points: 370 (before), 340 (after renovation)
- Reduction of the total installed capacity from 99 to 43 kW
- Reduction of the electricity consumption from 514,000 to 222,400 kWh/year
- Investment costs of the lighting refurbishment: 245,700 Euro
- The project was combined with the renovation of the heating system
Kilkenny County/Ireland – indoor and outdoor lighting for 7 public buildings
- LED lighting in offices, fire station, libraries, machinery yards, depots and landfill
- Number of lamps: 962 (before), 967 (after renovation)
- Reduction of installed capacity from 62 kW to 30 kW
- Reduction of electricity consumption from 86,704 to 35,331 kWh/year
- Investment costs: 170,000 €

Solcellsdriven cykelvägsbelysning
2016 Sverige - Kungälv
Kungälvs kommun har en energiplan med ambitiösas klimat- och energimål. De valde att göra en upphandling av miljövänlig belysningsteknik till platser där
det vanligen är för dyrt att ha belysning, till exempel cykelvägar.

2016 Kroatien - Koprivnica
För att verka för mer hållbara transporter och minska sina C02 utsläpp beslutade staden Koprivnica att ersätta dieselbussar med elbussar genom en hållbar upphandling. Läs mer om deras arbete här.

Korta mattransporter
2016 - kommuner i Blekinge
Fem kommuner i Blekinge län genomförde en gemensam upphandling av färskt kött och
köttprodukter där de tog hänsyn till djurskydd och korta transporter. Var och en för sig är
kommunerna små och har begränsade resurser, men tillsammans fick de bättre kvalitet på
upphandlingen och starkare förhandlingsposition. Läs om deras arbete här.
